Week 1-6/11
🔸 A device update for Azure IoT Hub is now generally available.
This update has the following new functions:
- Automatic group provisioning will automatically create groups of devices.
- Improved troubleshooting features.
- Automatic rollback enables defining a fallback version for your managed devices.
- Azure CLI Support enables the creation and manages Device Update resources, groups, and deployments using command line functions.
- Support for OS platforms such as Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu 20.04.
- Support in all Azure Hero regions.

🔸 Azure IoT Hub Service Upgrade is now in general availability.
The architecture of IoT Hub includes a cluster of front-end message-processing servers and software called the IoT Hub gateway.

Week 7-13/11
🔸 Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) update is here.

This update release contains the following improvements:
- Support for Azure IoT Edge 1.4LTS, which adds:
- Automatic image clean-up of unused Docker images
- Ability to pass a custom JSON payload to DPS on provisioning
- Ability to require all modules in a deployment to be downloaded before the restart
- Use of the TCG TPM2 Software Stack
- CBL-Mariner 2.0 as the virtual machine base operating system
- USB passthrough using USB-Over-IP
- File/Folder sharing between Windows OS and the EFLOW VM

These updates contain the following improvements:
- Scheduled auto-shutdown/auto-start for compute instances
- Automate compute instance customization and configuration
- Assess AI systems and make data-driven decisions with the Responsible AI dashboard
- Build computer vision models using AutoML for Images
- Build NLP models with AutoNLP capability

- Enable Delta Support for tabular datasets
- Read AzureML datastore URIs in Pandas/Dask (via fsspec integration)

🔸 Azure Functions can be invoked when a row in a SQL database is created, updated, or deleted through the Azure SQL trigger for Azure Functions, now available in public preview for C# functions.

Week 21-27/11
🔸 Azure IoT Hub now supports the ability to set up an Azure Cosmos DB account as a custom routing endpoint.
With the new release, you can:
- Configure an Azure Cosmos DB account as a custom endpoint within the IoT Hub
- Use Synthetic Partition Keys to auto-generate partition keys based on your business logic
- Create routing rules to send data directly to the defined Azure Cosmos DB endpoint
