One more year is coming to its end…
Let’s see my best moments of 2022 together!
January
In January, I reached 2000 followers on Twitter, and I celebrated with a giveaway.
In that month, I wrote two articles on my blog; “Catch up with me – December 2021” and “Azure IoT News – January 2022 by Think About IoT”.
Moreover, my robotics students and I participated in the Mega Event of the United Dojo about Astro Pi.
February
In February, I passed the Azure AI Fundamentals exam!
Also, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – February 2022 by Think About IoT” and “Catch up with me – January 2022”.
March
March is a month for women’s equality awareness. For this reason, due to Women’s Day 2022, the Rhodian newspaper “Rodiaki” published an article with four successful women in male-dominated professions. So, I had the honour to participate in this interview and share my experiences in the field of technology.
Moreover, I participated in my first Microsoft MVP Summit! I gained a lot of knowledge and “met” new MVPs.
Furthermore, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – March 2022 by Think About IoT”, “Happy Women’s Day 2022” and the “Catch up with me – February 2022”.
Finally, I travelled to Athens and Patras and had fun with my beloved friends.
April
That month had uploaded the 9th episode of Azure for Sure and I had the honour to talk about IoT.
Moreover, I had written “Azure IoT News – April 2022 by Think About IoT”, “Azure for Sure Ep. 9: First Guide to Azure IoT” and the “Happy Easter 2022 by Thing About IoT!”.
Plus, I had reached 2500 followers on Twitter!
Finally, I travelled with my boyfriend to Milano, Verona, and Venice, and we had wonderful moments there.
May
Birthday month! I became 25!
Also, I received and drove my car for the first time!
That month, I passed the Azure Developer Associate exam.
Furthermore, I had the pleasure to speak about IoT at Bradford Cloud User Group.
Moreover, I wrote “Catch up with me – April 2022”, “Azure IoT News – May 2022 by Think About IoT”, and “Bradford Cloud User Group: Getting started with Azure IoT”.
June
In June, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – June 2022 by Think About IoT” and the “Microsoft MVP Award – How to Become Microsoft Most Valuable Professional”.
I had the pleasure of speaking at a Greek event about How to Become Microsoft Most Valuable Professional.
Moreover, I had two dancing performances and I loved every single moment of that!
July
In July, I have the honour to receive a massive gift from Elgato for appreciating my community work and wanting to help me to reach more with all of these premium products!
Also, my robotics students made me very proud once again! All 3 projects that we submitted in the 4th Panhellenic Competition of Open Educational Technologies were distinguished among 130 projects.
I had the pleasure of answering all of your Azure IoT questions live, with the Azure IoT expert and Cloud Advocate, Bruno Capuano.
I wrote the “AMA – Ask Me Anything at Reactor: Azure IoT” and the “Azure IoT News – July 2022 by Think About IoT”.
Another significant change for me was that the Microsoft MVP program had announced new categories, and I have become an Internet of Things Microsoft MVP!
Plus, I reached 3000 followers on Twitter!!!
Last but not least, I travelled with my family, and we had a great tour around the Peloponnese.
August
In August, I graduated from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras with the Integrated Master’s / Diploma of Engineering in Computer Engineering & Informatics! Yaaay!!!
I wrote the “Azure IoT News – August 2022 by Think About IoT“.
Plus, I renewed my Power Platform Developer Associate certification.
That month, I gained my first money online!!! I am officially a micro-influencer!
Finally, I had Covid-19 for the first (and I hope last) time…
September
In that month, the “Microsoft MVP Award Program Blog” published an article that highlights my community activities involving students!
Moreover, I passed the Azure IoT Developer Specialty Microsoft certification exam!
Also, my best friend Sofie came to Rhodes to visit me, and we had a superb time together.
October
In October, I started a Master’s Degree at the University of the Aegean in Didactics of Mathematics, Science, and Information and Communication Technologies in Education.
Furthermore, I hosted my first and only Greek Microsoft Ignite After Party.
Moreover, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – September 2022 by Think About IoT”, the “Microsoft Ignite After Party by Think About IoT” and the “Microsoft Tech Days: A Flight into IoT 2 – Long-Haul”.
On the last day of October, my brother Dimitris and his startup AidPlex were in Forbes 30 under 30 Greece! Hugeee!
November
In November, we had our second Flight into IoT 2 – Long-Haul with my beloved friends Peter Gallagher, Clifford Agius, Sander van de Velde, John Lunn, and José Simões.
I also, speak at the Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development about my experience as the first employee working fully remotely at Info Quest Technologies and CANDI Advanced Business And Digital Solutions, to young people searching for jobs.
Moreover, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – October 2022 by Think About IoT” and the “Business Days by Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development”.
December
This month was full of community activities.
The Betatalks podcast episode 46, Building robotics & Azure IoT – with Maria-Anastasia Moustaka was out.
Next, I participated in the Festive Tech Calendar 2022 on day 28 with a video about my route from a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador to IoT Microsoft Most Valuable Professional – MVP.
Also, I wrote the “Azure IoT News – November 2022 by Think About IoT”, the “Christmas & New Year’s Eve Countdown (GR)”, the “Azure IoT News – December 2022 by Think About IoT”, the “From a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador to IoT Microsoft Most Valuable Professional – MVP”, the “Betatalks the podcast: 46. Building robotics & Azure IoT – with Maria-Anastasia Moustaka” and this blog post.
Closing
This was a wonderful year full of great moments! I feel so thankful for the people I have in my life, the trips I had, the achievements I gained, and all the lessons I learned.
